Thank you for choosing to train with Reach your Pawtential. Please see below the terms and conditions for training sessions:


1. Payments must be made in advance to secure your training place/appointment. Refunds will be less any processing fees

2. Please ensure your dog is up to date with vaccinations to allow us to provide a safe training environment for all dogs

3. Please ensure you have provided us with all the relevant information regarding your dog’s health and behaviour to ensure we provide the most suitable training programme

4. As we train through positive reinforcement, we ask that no aversive training equipment is brought to the training session. We will provide you with all the necessary tools to get you started

5. Dogs should train wearing a flat collar or harness only please to ensure the dog feels comfortable and positive about the training

6. Whilst attending please keep your dog on a lead and under control at all times

7. Please take responsibility for picking up after your dog during sessions

8. If your female dog is in season, please let us know and we can adapt the session as need be

9. If your dog is unwell, please let us know, we can rearrange / adapt sessions as required

10. Children are welcome in training sessions, we feel very passionate about teaching the new generation about positive interactions with animals. We do ask however that any attending children are supervised by an adult at all times to ensure their safety. That adult is responsible for the child’s safety during the training session and the adult must hold the dog’s lead at all times. Reach your Pawtential will not be held liable for any accident/ injury

11. Those attending must assume full responsibility for their dog at all times, including any behaviour the dog may exhibit. Reach your Pawtential will not be held liable for any accident/ injury

12. Please be aware that the safety of your own dog is your responsibility and Reach your Pawtential will not be held liable for any accident/ injury

13. Please be aware that there is a risk when handling training equipment and that your safety is your own responsibility. Reach your Pawtential will not be held liable for any accident/ injury

14. Please remember the advice given during our training sessions is a suggestion based on the behaviours we observe during the session. You are responsible for your dogs’ behaviour out with the training session, and as such, you are accountable for their actions at all times. Reach your Pawtential will not be held liable for any accident/ injury

15. As your dogs’ owner it is your decision as to what advice and training techniques you deem as acceptable for use with your dog. Our techniques are all based on positive reinforcement, however if you feel a particular exercise is worrying, stressful or unsafe to practice with your dog, let us know and we can adapt the session

16. All merchandise should only be used in conjunction with the positive training techniques supported by Reach your Pawtential

17. If you agree, photographs will be taken of your dog during the session. These will be shared on the Social Media platforms Facebook and Instagram after each training session. We may use these photographs for promotional purposes which are displayed on our website, social media and on flyers and posters. If you object to us including you in our promotional materials, then please the trainer know on the first session

18. COVID-19 – please adhere to all Covid-19 guidance issued by the trainer. If you have to isolate with Covid-19, sessions can be rearranged.

19. If sessions are outdoors, the weather may be unpredictable and sessions may be postponed and rearranged to a later date or moved online. As much notice will be given as possible before the session. We appreciate your understanding during these uncertain times.
